New Hot Creek page on facebook. Please Don't Wade in Hot Creek. Check it out! The warm weather is finally here that we have been waiting for! Most of us have been out of town since the opener or in and out of town so the reports have lagged a little bit. Now that I am back in town I will get all the reports cranked out for everybody that has been interested. The 24 Opener is fast approaching and I'll have all the info you need for the weekend on the site by the end of the night! Other news Dave Leak is now based out of Temecula in southern California. He is now working out of Blue Water Tackle/ San Diego Fly Shop. He has just getting started with guiding large mouth bass on the fly at Vail Lake, one of the best bass fisheries around! He is also guiding the Lower Colorado river for large mouth bass and small mouth bass and let me tell you there is some amazing fishing going on right now. So for all you trout guys that only fly fish for trout it is time to come out of the box and see what else there is to be had on the fly! I grew up as a bass guy and never once thought I would be catching bass on my fly rod. This is one of the most exciting and challenging ways of fly fishing there is.
