Lived in Mammoth lakes since 2005I have always felt that there has been a really great fishing report site missing from the Eastern Sierra area. I am trying to bring what the ocean report sites have to offer and give excitement to our readers.I have been fly fishing for almost 5 years now. I am not new to fishing in anyway, first started spending my days on the water when i was still in diapers bass fishing in Castaic Lake. I spent many years fishing the LA and Ventura county lakes. I fished bass tournaments for 3 years, and after that moved onto the salt water. I spent 10 years of my life fishing 3 days or more a week in the saltwater before moving to Mammoth Lakes.Since moving to Mammoth Lakes, i picked up the art of fly fishing. I have now dropped all conventional gear and you'll only find Jason with a fly rod in hand these days.Jason's days off are spent searching for trophy class trout. He spends countless hours tying his own styles of streamer partners that work exclusively for big fish. He is a king of the alpers in the Mammoth Lakes basin, but don't count him out on showing up with some impressive pictures of the Crowley Lake browns. When you see Jason on the water in his float tube you can bet your money on it that your fishing in the right spot. Jason has mastered the art of fly fishing from a float tube.Contac Jason atJasonFritz@Troutwaterreports.comPhone # 760 914-3763

Dave found his passion for fishing at the young age of 9, living in Southern California. It all began with chasing largemouth bass and bluegill on small, local ponds and lakes on conventional gear. It was not long after that when dad got him his first fly rod at the age of 12, and he took his first trip to the Eastern Sierra. In the years to come his passion for the mountains, and the trout that live there, became an addiction. Contact Dave at Dave@troutwaterreports.com phone #
